Algarve shopping is a large shopping complex in Guia a 10 min drive from the apartment,with many shops, including "Continent" hypermarket, designer shops(Zara,Mango,Pull & Bear etc) and a extensive range of cafe's and restaurants,also within the mall is a multiplex cinema and bowling alley.
A few minute's drive into Guia, you can visit Zoomarine an adventure park with many attractions plus the opportunity to "interact with the Dolphins" A full day of fun for children and adults!

This is a small insight into The Algarve and the area of Albufeira, the most popular tourist area of Southern Portugal. One of the finest coastal holiday destinations. An amazing number of people of all age groups visit every year, with the attractions that fits your need, retired couples feel at home in the relaxing atmosphere, teenagers and families with young children have all the facilities to make an enjoyable time away from home!
Albufeira consists of "old and new" areas which all merge into one extensive holiday resort with the finest of beaches, buzzing restaurants many of which have live music, or more quiet and relaxing areas the choice is yours! The old charm can still be felt in the narrow streets lined with whitewashed houses, apartments, cafes and shops which lead down the hillside to the central square, where it is good to sit and watch the world go by. This is the sun-bathers haven with fine sands and breathtaking views.
Everywhere you go you are surrounded by bright colours, golden sands and crystal clear waters and clear blue skies, its year round temperate climate boasts 300 days of sunshine(in the height of the season temperatures have been in mid 30s), it has been said that The Algarve has more sunshine hours than California!
CULINARY DELIGHTS
Eating out in The Algarve is a highly regarded "special time" for the Portuguese, who are very family orientated, so will will find on most occasions the family, Mum, Dad and Offspring's will be in Restaurants all times of day and sometimes late at night. Food in the Algarve can reflect the heritage of this region, always with lots of flavours and richly prepared. The regional dish is Sardines served in various manners, but very tasty. For those who are not too adventurous English food is served in most eating establishments, plus Chinese and Indian.
